A visit in the high season demands patience. Because of the limited capacity of the elevators, the line can be very long. Here you can buy clothes from Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Pierre Cardin, Christian Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Paris is also a market city. Buy great food at the Rue Mouffetard market or old books, postcards, and musical instruments or porcelain at the March de la Porte de Vanves market. For cheap souvenir, go to Rue de Rivoli.
